Quartz Ineo RCP 5W-30 – engine oil developed with Stellantis
Quartz Ineo RCP 5W-30 is a high-performance synthetic engine oil developed in line with the real-world needs and operating conditions of modern Stellantis engines, including those powering Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall vehicles. The research teams of Stellantis and TotalEnergies jointly formulated an oil designed to meet the specific operating requirements of these engines and to comply with factory durability standards—a key condition for official homologation. In other words, this is the result of a true technical partnership, where the oil is not just “suitable” but the best possible solution for these engines.

What are the benefits of Quartz Ineo RCP 5W-30 engine oil?
- Extends engine life: Thanks to advanced Age Resistance Technology, the oil forms a strong, thick oil film on all concerned engine parts, reducing friction and slowing oxidation. This helps the engine maintain optimal performance for a longer period, even under the most demanding driving conditions.
- Reduces the risk of damage caused by premature combustion (LSPI): Quartz Ineo RCP 5W-30 is specially formulated to prevent the low-speed pre-ignition phenomenon and ensure safer, longer-lasting engine operation.
- Optimizes the performance of particle filters: With its Low SAPS formulation, the oil ensures long-lasting and proper functioning of exhaust after-treatment systems such as DPF and GPF filters, thereby reducing CO₂ and pollutant emissions.
Did you know?
The LSPI (Low-Speed Pre-Ignition) phenomenon most commonly occurs in modern turbocharged gasoline engines with direct fuel injection under conditions of low engine speed and high load – for example, during sudden acceleration, overtaking, or driving uphill. In these situations, the air-fuel mixture can ignite prematurely, creating excessive pressure inside the cylinder that can damage engine components such as pistons and piston rings.
Usage recommendations
Before choosing this oil, check your vehicle’s service booklet and the manufacturer’s manual. It is important to ensure that the 5W-30 viscosity grade and the specified approvals correspond to your engine’s requirements.
