Various lubricants are utilized in cement manufacturing process, which have to meet strict technical requirements:

• conditions of operations are very severe, under high loads, shocks and high temperature,
• the equipment is extremely expensive, so it is crucial to extend the lifespan of drive assemblies by using high-quality lubricants,
• the production process is continuous, and the cost associated with downtime is extremely high, so preventive maintenance must be well planned,
• the environmental impact of the cement industry is extremely high. By using optimal lubricants, this impact can be reduced.

Lubricants used in quarries:

• RUBIA WORKS engine oils (approved by most engine manufacturers for machinery) and RUBIA TIR (approved by most truck engine manufacturers),
• DYNATRANS transmission oils,
• EQUIVIS ZS hydraulic oils,
• TP STAR CONCEPT multi-purpose oils (STAR MAX FE, STAR TRANS),

Lubricants used in cement manufacturing process:

• Open gear lubricants, such as aluminum complex greases with graphite LUBRILOG GRAFOLOG and special high-viscosity greases LUBRILOG FLUOLOG,
• Gear lubricants, mineral CARTER EP, synthetic CARTER SG (polyalkylene glycol-based), CARTER SH (polyalphaolefin-based), CARTER BIO (biodegradable hydraulic oils based on synthetic esters),
• Hydraulic lubricants such as AZOLLA, EQUIVIS, and CIRKAN,
• Lubricating greases: lithium MULTIS EP, lithium complex MULTIS COMPLEX EP, lithium complex MULTIS COMPLEX SHD, calcium-sulfonate CERAN XM, polyurethane ALTIS.

In addition to the mentioned lubricants and cleaning agents, TotalEnergies also offers its customers regular ANAC lubricant analyses. ANAC is a specialized laboratory for analyzing and monitoring lubricants in operation, which, in addition to detailed analysis results tailored to the needs of different types of lubricants, also provides an report on the condition of the lubricant: potential wear on a specific lubricated mechanical part, the presence of contaminants, and even predicting the expected lifespan of the lubricant. During such analysis, the lubricant replacement interval can be increased or decreased if the analysis parameters indicate so.
