Can brake fluids be mixed?
Mineral and silicone brake fluids should never be mixed with fluids that don’t have the same basis.
On the other hand, all synthetic brake fluids are miscible, but bear in mind that adding a lower specification brake fluid into that of a higher one lowers the boiling point of the latter and weakens its resistance to absorbing moisture.
More on brake fluids is available in Advice & Proposals section.
