Auto-servis Požega, Požega
Full steam ahead
According to legend, the state engineer of Prince Miloš, in order to create an urban plan, placed a stake on a vast plain, tied a rope to it and described a circle. This is how the famous "circular square" was created, which became the main feature of Požega after houses, shops and taverns sprang up around it.
The city expanded over time, and, keeping up with the technological development of the country, it got roads, railways, and car repair shops. That's why our team ended up there. We were welcomed by Duško and Goran, the owners of "Auto-servis Požega", where, we have to admit, we met the concept of a partnership company for the first time since the TotalEnergies Caravan started its journey through Serbia. We leave it up to you to judge how much trust and security is needed for such a way of running a business.
Partnership companies may be rare, but what is completely unique in the world, and located in Požega, is the 150-year-old steam locomotive "Rama" in the Railway Museum, accompanied by original narrow-gauge exhibits, witnessing to the historical and technical development of the former Yugoslav republics.
We hope that the photo gallery below can convey all the value of this unusual, and somewhat nostalgic, open-air Museum, together with all the contemporaneity of "Auto-servis Požega", which is guided by the postulate that progress must not wait.
