Being one of the deepest rivers in Europe, the Tisa provides a safe haven to many endangered species of fish like the goldfish, the tench, and the misgurnus fossilis, but don't be surprised if you see a black stork, a ground squirrel or a wild cat minding their own business somewhere in the distance.
