An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
Stretched from Misar to Drina and from Cer mountain to Sava, Macva, the largest plain of Serbia, boasts its enviable natural beauty. As we passed through it on our way to Bogatic, a mosaic of green fields, dense forests and golden wheat caught our eye. Fertile and bountiful, it "bursts" with health.
In Bogatic, we were warmly welcomed by Ivan Drazic, the owner of the service with the symbolic name "Auto Hospital". However, what intrigued the Caravan team was how much attention is paid in this service not only to "treatment", i.e. vehicle repair, but above all to the prevention of breakdowns.
How much it actually makes sense, we confirmed in the wonderful Zasavica, a Special Nature Reserve, where the rich flora and fauna have been restored and preserved with good and proper care. Fairies and dragons, who according to Celtic legends inhabited these regions thousands of years ago, gifted us fertile swamps, spacious meadows and endless pastures where thousands of rare, endangered and protected animal species roam freely today.
